This presentation explores how biogas plants can act as a battery.
The biogas plant can:
- store renewable energy by converting WTG- & PV power into biogas/methane for long‑duration storage.
- use electricity for transport, plant operations, pre‑treatment and PtX processes (electrolysis + CO₂ utilization).
- store energy as methane in the gas grid — far higher capacity than conventional batteries.
- release energy when needed via CHP-gas engines or turbines.
- balance fluctuating wind/solar production and reduces grid‑connection.
Join us and discover how biogas can help build a more flexible and reliable energy system.
